Peony Re-Vamp

Today I wanted to show you how you can use the same stamp or stamp set and create a totally different look or card.  Let’s face it, this hobby is not cheap, so it is important always helpful :), if our goodies can be used in multiple ways.  Raluca Vezetev shared the card below on the SugarPea Designs blog.  Using the Pretty Peonies stamp set, along with the  SugarCut – Card Front Element Builder that Wendy Ramlakhan used for her “Peony Hello”, Raluca created this gorgeous card with Distress Inks and watercolor cardstock.  Visit Raluca’s blog post on the SugarPea Designs blog for more images and details.  Make sure you take a second look at how you can re-vamp your stamps!

A Peony Hello

I always love introducing stamp companies that I have discovered, usually through social media sites such as Instagram or Facebook.  Today, I would like to introduce Sugar Pea Designs.  The card pictured below was designed by Wendy Ramlakhan, for Sugar Pea Designs, and posted on their blog.  I love the colors she used, as well as how she embossed the flower, buds and leaves, in silver.  For the card below, Wendy used the Sugar Pea Designs stamp set Pretty Peonies, SugarCut – Card Front Element Builder,  and the SugarCut – Hello word die.  For the flowers and leaves, she simply water colored those after embossing.  Make sure that you visit Sugar Pea Designs’ website, to see the elegant and whimsical stamps and dies that they offer.  Also, make sure that you visit their blog, for inspiration and chances to win prizes in their blog hops.   You are sure to find some Sugar Pea products that tickle your fancy!
