No line coloring….color outside the lines!

No line coloring

One of the latest crazes in the papercrafting/card making world is no line coloring.  It produces a beautiful effect, making it look more like you drew the image instead of stamping it.  Ilda Dias shared the stunning piece below on Facebook in Stamp Junkies, which she created by using the no line coloring technique by watercoloring with watercolor crayons. According to Ilda’s post on her blog, it did take her a little bit of time, but the result was remarkable.  Ilda used the Lovely Blooms clear stamp set by Studio Katia.  The watercolor crayons she used were a set she purchased from Michaels, their Recollections brand.  I checked the Michaels website, and while it seems they no longer carry them, you can purchase them on Amazon.  For this technique, Tim Holtz distress crayons, which come in a variety of colors, could also be used.  Check out the post for this gorgeous creation on Ilda’s blog, I Love Doing All Things Crafty.  This is your time to take a chance and color outside the lines! 🙂

I have been a a rubber stamp and scrapbooking enthusiast for 20+ years. I am very passionate about papercrafting, and enjoy sharing that passion with others. I value the friendships that I have made along the way, and the incredibly creative things I have seen and continue to see. My motto is create something everyday......thus, eat, sleep, create, repeat.
