The stockings were hung…..on the tree!

Before I talk about the card below, I just want to take a minute to talk about the company that produced the stamp images used for this card.  I am always encouraged when I see a new stamp company…we have lost so many over the years, that at times it seemed as if rubber stamping and card making would be a lost art.  I am not sure where I discovered The Ton Couture Clear Stamps, maybe Facebook, maybe Pinterest.  All I know is that they have some awesome images that produce gorgeous and fun cards.  The lady behind the business, Effie, is actually an attorney, who launched this brand in 2015.  The company’s rubber stamp images are “inspired by haute couture fashion and modern decor” (Effie, 2017).  Anywho, the point is that I am happy to know that there are new companies that are not afraid to break into the papercraft world.  I am very passionate about this hobby and I want it to be around for a long time!  Now about this adorable card….

Brenda Noelke created this card and posted it on her blog, My Papercut Creations, using The Ton Couture Clear Stamps; specifically:

Christmas Tree

Holiday Ballet

Haute Stripes Cling Background

Fireplace Holiday Accessories (stocking)

I think that Brenda did a fantastic job on this card, I really love that she put the stockings on the tree AND wrote names on them in the white space.  I think this is a classical, yet fun card.  Click on The Ton Couture Clear Stamps to learn more abut this up and coming stamp company.  And, make sure that you visit Brenda Noelke’s blog, My Papercut Creations, for more cards created using The Ton stamps.

Eat, sleep, create, repeat.

I have been a a rubber stamp and scrapbooking enthusiast for 20+ years. I am very passionate about papercrafting, and enjoy sharing that passion with others. I value the friendships that I have made along the way, and the incredibly creative things I have seen and continue to see. My motto is create something everyday......thus, eat, sleep, create, repeat.
