Posted in Cards - Christmas

Time to “undeck” the halls, but first….

As I mentioned in an earlier post, even though I am well aware that Christmas is over (thankfully!), I will still be sharing Christmas themed cards until the end of the year, as there are just so many that need to be seen!  For this post, I am sharing a card that was made by Lee Ann Barrett, using images from Technique Junkies, another fave stamp company of mine. I love this company not only for their incredible and beautiful selection of rubber stamps, but also because I know the owner personally (a lovely lady by the name of Pat Huntoon).  The card below was shared on Lee Ann’s blog, Greyt Paper Crafts, and also shared on the Technique Junkies blog.  The stamp images that Lee Ann used from Technique Junkies were Draped Ornaments and Gifts of Christmas. The essence of this card, in my opinion, is that Lee Ann used only red to color in a couple of the ornaments, leaving the rest simply in black ink.  Certainly, you could do so much with this stamp…..either by coloring all the ornaments, or just stamping the image in different color inks.  However, I feel that by just coloring in a few of the ornaments in a single color, the beauty of this stamp really shines through.  Make sure that you visit Technique Junkies website, and take a few moments to check out their fabulous images.  Also, be sure to visit Lee Ann’s blog, Greyt Paper Crafts, and see more of the beautiful cards that she creates.

Eat, sleep, create, repeat.

I have been a a rubber stamp and scrapbooking enthusiast for 20+ years. I am very passionate about papercrafting, and enjoy sharing that passion with others. I value the friendships that I have made along the way, and the incredibly creative things I have seen and continue to see. My motto is create something everyday......thus, eat, sleep, create, repeat.
