I know that we are past Thanksgiving, but I refuse to start with Christmasy things until December 1st! More because I didn’t get a chance to post as many Fall themed things as I would have liked! Below is a great Fall card, that I really like because it uses a lot of elements. I believe the link to Cheryl Gorka’s blog is http://shestamps.blogspot.com/, however, I could not find an image of this card there, but I may not have looked hard enough. I believe the stamp may be an old Gina K Designs stamp. The creator used a base white card stock that was embossed with a chicken wire embossing folder, then added a little color on the bottom with a stipple brush and a caramel ink. The different size pennant pieces were cut from different patterned paper, but with the same Fall color scheme. A border stitch was added around the inside edge of the base, over top of the pennants. The pumpkins stamp was stamped and colored on tan card stock, then adhered on top of a small, frayed piece of burlap, and adhered to the card. It’s a great way to combine and tie in different fun elements!
